My Training and Accreditation

I am a UKCP accredited Psychotherapist and Supervisor, a full member of the Association for Cognitive Analytic Therapy (ACAT), of the British Association of Dramatherapists (BADth) and of the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).

I use an integrative approach drawing from a number of models according to the clients' needs and relational styles. I work with individuals, couples, families and groups.

I have extensive experience of working with organisations and of providing consultation to improve knowledge and wellbeing at work and to develop team cohesiveness. I am particularly interested in the influence of our work on our wellbeing, and I am focused on developing the provision of employee support to companies and organisations. A wealth of research has been undertaken in this field, demonstrating that employee support can help to reduce stress and improve performance through reduced absenteeism, greater productivity, fewer accidents, and less turnover among employees.

1The key to successful therapy is finding the right therapist for you. However good, knowledgeable or experienced a therapist is, it is the relationship between the two of you that determines whether you trust them enough, and they come to understand you enough, to help you explore and find solutions for your problem.
